Denmark to receive first SAMP/T NG air-defense system in 2028
Denmark will receive the SAMP/T NG air-defense system starting in 2028, following orders signed in Q1 2023. Thales will supply the radar, with the contract valued over €100 million (US$118 million). The upgraded system features the Aster 30 Block 1 NT interceptor, capable of engaging targets at a range of 150 kilometers, enhancing Denmark's defense capabilities.
