Merops

U.S. Army is deploying the Merops interceptor drone, developed by Perennial Autonomy, to counter Iranian-made Shahed drones. The Army acquired 13,000 units within eight days, with costs projected to drop below $10,000 per unit. The Merops features a range of 5-20 km and speeds up to 280 km/h, enhancing air defense capabilities against mass drone attacks.
