The JDAM-LR, developed by Boeing with a Kratos turbojet engine and Ferra Engineering wings, enhances strike capabilities. Capt. Sarah Abbott noted it allows safer engagement distances, maintaining tactical advantages in contested environments. Further testing is planned for operational deployment.
